The PBSA has partnered with UrbEd Inc. to empower our Student Representatives on the Board of Education.

β€œThe Philly Black Students Alliance stands in full support of the UrbEd demands in calling for the school district and local/state elected officials to allow the two student representatives voting rights on the school board. The school district consists of over 200,000 students who are supposedly represented by two students who are only allowed to attend but not vote at school board meetings. It is crucial that students be given the POWER to help decide the fate of their own education. We demand strong influence on the school board which is supposed to serve us.”
